PROVO — In a development being described as “the worst thing to happen all season,” coworkers confirmed that Dale, the BYU fan in accounting who calls it “the rivalry” like he invented it, made a completely correct observation about Utah’s secondary heading into the November 7 matchup. “I wanted to argue. I had the argument loaded,” said one Utah fan, staring at his desk. “Then he cited the Houston game and I just had to sit there and let him be right. In front of everyone.” Sources report Dale has since returned to being wrong about everything else, but the damage was done.
